The Madness consumed the brackets

If you had Florida, Wisconsin, UConn and Kentucky as the Final Four this season, you’re either clairvoyant or in possession of a Delorian with a flux capacitor. After most of us watched our Final Four go up in smoke, it left our Cover 32 Writers Bracket Challenge nearly over.

Here’s how your Cardinals writers stack up after the second weekend.

Ryan Bawek was running strong but Arizona’s nail-biting loss to Wisconsin took down his national champion and eliminated all of his teams. He finished with 730 points which was good enough for a tie for fourth, for now.

Andrew Nordmeier is the other person tied with Ryan for fourth place with 730 points. Andrew is also hoping for a Florida title to move up in the standings.

Brandon Shipley rebounded nicely and stands in 12th place with 670 points. He still has a chance to move up with Florida as his national champion.

Caleb Barron had Michigan State fall and take his bracket with it. He sits at 27th with 550 points and could finish at worst 28th out of our 39 writers.

The top two players each have Wisconsin winning the title while 14 other players have Florida coming out on top. It will be interesting to see where everyone finishes but the writers on this page have three of the top 12 spots through this point in the game.
