Top 10 Prospects: Outside Linebacker


The Falcons have transitioned their way into the 3-4 base defense during the offseason. The move is not surprising, as Atlanta has been horrific on the defensive side of the ball for years. Bolstering one of the younger secondaries in the NFL, Atlanta has moved their focus towards fixing the front seven. This includes drafting outside linebackers to rush the quarterback, but more importantly, set the edge. The Falcons were one of the league’s worst against the run last season,but with the addition of run stoppers like Soliai and Jackson, Atlanta believes they will be a tough team in the trenches. The remaining piece to the puzzle revolves who will get after the quarterbacks, and that will be addressed in this year’s draft.
