The Cardinals have clear needs at outside linebacker. John Abraham had a stellar season in 2013 but there are question marks if he can repeat it. The other side of the 3-4 formation has some uncertainty as the Cardinals look to add the complimentary pass-rushing piece.
The level of priority on this has increased since Karlos Dansby bolted for Cleveland. Add Daryl Washington’s uncertain future to the mix and a strong outside linebacker becomes a bigger need. Washington is scheduled to be sentenced later this month for aggravated assault charges.
If the right side of the offensive line gets resolved, this could be what the Cardinals spend their first-round pick on next month at the NFL Draft.
