The Kansas City Chiefs are in desperate need of help at free safety after allowing Kendrick Lewis to walk in free agency. Free safety was already a need with Lewis on the team. Without him, it becomes a gaping hole in the secondary.
It’s unlikely that the Chiefs will find their answer in free agency, but that doesn’t mean they won’t try.

Danieal Manning is “just another guy,” but he does add value to special teams, especially in the return game.
Manning is an eight-year NFL vet, spending his first five seasons in the Chicago Bears before signing with the Houston Texans in 2011. Manning did see some time as a kick returner in his final years in Chicago. He only returned 15 kickoffs in his three years with the Texans.
Manning has spent the last two days visiting the Bengals in Cincinnati, but all indications point to him making it to his visit in Kansas City later this week.
