Recently, John Harbaugh went on the record saying that the Ravens would be looking to add one or two new players at the inside linebacker position (which we will go more in depth about tomorrow). Before we dive too far into the depth at the position and the players competing for contributing roles (of which there are three already on the roster), or the players outside the organization who may be able to help, let’s take a look at the talent at inside linebacker in this year’s draft.
Alabama’s C.J. Mosley is the headliner, and his Alabama ties makes this an interesting match. However, one would think that with two capable starters on the roster (Daryl Smith and Arthur Brown), they won’t look to use the 17th overall pick on the position. And so, that means that if the Ravens add an inside linebacker through the draft, it will be from the depth at the position.
So, without further ado, here are the top 10 inside linebackers in this year’s draft. See for yourself which players “play like a Raven.” And be on the lookout tomorrow morning for an in-depth analysis of the positional depth, and where the organization may be looking moving forward.
