Tyrann Mathieu wins Arizona Cardinals play of the year

The Arizona Cardinals had their play of the year happen all the way back in Week 1 with a rookie making the play.

Tyrann Mathieu tracking down St. Louis tight end Jared Cook to force a fumble and save a touchdown has been named the play of the year by Cardinals fans on the team’s official website.

Mathieu’s play, called Honey Badger Hustle, managed to take down Michael Floyd’s touchdown catch that gave Arizona its biggest win of the season in the game at Seattle.

Admittedly, the brackets were a little flawed as there were times two plays from one player went head-to-head but it’s all in good fun. At the end of the day, either of those two plays would have been great winners. Mathieu’s play came out on top.
