Mock draft version 1.0: A Kirk Cousins trade? Who'd the Rams take at No. 2?


The NFL Draft is three weeks from tomorrow, commencing on May 8 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. So it’s time to start seriously thinking about what direction teams are going to go during the first round – finally.

Now that free agency has come and gone (for the most part), it actually makes sense to start forecasting the draft. Team needs are much clearer now than they were prior to March 11, so prognostications have more validity today than they have in the past few weeks.

With that in mind, the managing editor for each site on the cover32 network took to their own “virtual war room,” serving as the general manager for their team during a mock draft. While there’s been a lot of talk about Washington trading Kirk Cousins for a first round pick, that didn’t go down in this version.
