Who do the Houston Texans select first in Cover32’s mock draft?

Cover32 has officially released their first-round NFL mock draft for 2014. The Houston Texans are on the clock first with the first overall selection, so who did they select with the top pick?

The answer may surprise you, or it may not. The Texans will end up taking Jadeveon Clowney, the defensive end out of South Carolina with the first overall pick.

No surprise for people like myself here, who believe it is necessary to take the best player and most safest bet in the draft, and to form a heavily feared pass-rush tandem with the league’s best defensive player, J.J. Watt.

Texans fans, do any of you think that Clowney’s the guy to draft, or is it time to select a franchise quarterback, or even use the pick on someone else?
