Bears sign a veteran receiver

The Bears have agreed to terms with wide receiver Josh Morgan on a one-year contract.

Morgan has spent the last two seasons with the Washington Redskins and was with the San Francisco 49ers to start his career. The six-year pro has 199 receptions and 11 touchdowns in his career.

Morgan played in 14 games last year and had 20 receptions. He has topped over 40 catches three times in his career. He will likely battle with Domenik Hixon and Eric Weems for the final wide receiver positions.

Morgan does have a history and a punt and kick returner which is a position of need after the departure of Devin Hester.
