Two potential top picks are visiting the Houston Texans

The Houston Texans are reportedly prepared to host two of most highly-touted prospects in this year’s draft.

They are set to meet with both Jadeveon Clowney and Johnny Manziel today, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.¬†Obviously for Texans fans, this is very intriguing news as it displays that the Texans are seriously considering both players for the first pick.

This news is also interesting after reports stated that general manager Rick Smith prefers linebacker Khalil Mack in the draft over Clowney, and Mack is scheduled to meet with the Texans next week.

The Texans are indeed making things interesting, not giving anyone hints who they’ll be taking with the first pick. Manziel is only one of the promising quarterbacks that’ll be taken in this year’s draft, and now they may select a player over Clowney who isn’t one of those signal-callers.

Texans fans, how do you feel about this news? Should we just brush it aside, or does this mean something big is in store for Houston?
