Report: New York Giants full schedule revealed early (UPDATE)

After a long and potentially overhyped wait, the 2014 NFL schedule was finally announced Wednesday—albeit, a bit prematurely via WFAN in New York—and the New York Giants will open with the Detroit Lions on Monday night, September 8 at Ford Field.

Some highlights of the year include a visit from the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football in Week 8 and a trip to Seattle the following week to face the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks.

The Giants have five primetime games including a tilt with the NFC East champion Philadelphia Eagles at home on October 12.
