St. Louis Rams do some major wheeling and dealing in cover32 mock draft 2.0

In our first mock draft, the St. Louis Rams stayed put at no. 2 and no. 13. With those two picks, the Rams selected wide receiver Sammy Watkins and safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.

This time though, we mixed things up a bit by adding trades to the mix. And no team was more active than the Rams, who traded down from no. 2 to no. 6 with Atlanta and from no. 13 to no. 24 with Cincinnati.

Absolutely horrible job on the Rams’ draft. First, you don’t trade from 2 to 6 and only get a third round pick in return. That would be a horrible deal. Second, the Rams don’t need a DE. They have Quinn, Long and Hayes. Do your homework first next time.

Ford is a hybrid type, so he’s actually an outside linebacker in this scenario, a position the Rams could use. As for the trade, I actually agree. In my scenario I had the Rams getting a future first rounder in addition to the third rounder in 2014. That must’ve gotten cut for space in the main article.

If I were the rams I would take Robinson with the 2nd pick. Shazier with the 13th and in the 2nd round take the best guard on the board. 3 starters.
