Who did the New York Jets select in cover32’s mock draft 3.0?

The cover32 mock draft 3.0 is out, and for the third straight time, the New York Jets are taking the best receiver on the board: Odell Beckham Jr.

From the mock draft on the main site:

Odell Beckham, Jr. (WR | LSU) – The Jets continue to revamp their offense, adding another weapon for Geno Smith to have at his disposal. They already signed Eric Decker and Chris Johnson. This former LSU wideout would be another nice addition.

The fake Jets could’ve gone with Brandin Cooks in this slot, but Cooks is just 5-foot-9, and does this team need another small receiver? Right now, Eric Decker is the only “big” wideout on the roster, but Beckham’s 5-foot-11 frame still isn’t a dominant outside target. Maybe Kelvim Benjamin or Florida State would be a better choice. Maybe if you’re going small, you do just take the speed of Cooks. We’ll find out for sure next week.
