The 2011 draft for Indianapolis brought a group of young players to the disaster of a team that was left after the Peyton Manning Era ended. Bill Polian and comapny had no idea that Manning had already played his last game as a Colt, and spent the draft building around him.
Polian would make his last picks in 2011, and only one still remains a Colt.
1st round, 22nd overall – Anthony Castonzo (OT, BC)
In his rookie season, Anthony Castonzo found himself starting in 12 games. Despite the 2-14 finish for the Colts, Castonzo showed great potential. So great in fact, that he would be named a full-time starter for the last two seasons and the Colts recently picked up his fifth year option of his rookie contract.
It is unknown whether or not Castonzo will become an elite left tackle, but he has shown improvement in each season of his young career.
