Jake Locker’s Pro Football Reference page is really sad

As the Tennessee Titans prepare for the NFL Draft, and the possibility of drafting Jake Locker’s successor becomes even more real, it’s an interesting time on the quarterback’s Pro Football Reference page.

You can sponsor a player for a determined fee and write practically what you like about said player.

For Locker, ┬áthe “ISFL Carolina Panthers” decided to go with this:

“Don’t make me sad, don’t make me cry. Sometimes love is not enough and the road gets tough, I don’t know why. Keep making me laugh, let’s go get high. The road is long, we carry on, we were born to die.”

Doesn’t get much sadder than that.

Well, unless you consider Locker’s only played 18 of the possible 32 games in the past two seasons.

I’m not sure if it’s sad or if is inspirational. Don’t make me sad, don’t make me cry….we still in believe in you that you won’t do any of these. Sometimes love is not enough and the road gets tough, I don’t know why….inspirational quote to give a friend hope and pride in himself even during the down times and letting him know we all have the down times for unknown reasons. Keep making me laugh….you still have good in you. Let’s go get high….You’ll always be a friend. The road is long, we carry on…More inspiration to let him know “we” are by his side and face the struggles together. We were born to die…no matter how we fare in life, good, bad, or ugly, we all lose in the end to Death, so live it while we can and strive to be our best and have Fun doing it!
