How AFC South rival picks will affect the Colts

With the first overall pick in the 2014 draft the Houston Texans selected JaDaveon Clowney.

With Clowney now being able to play along side All Pro JJ Watt, how will this affect the Colts?

The Colts will have a tough time blocking both Clowney and Watt, but Clowney should have trouble his rookie year fitting into a new defensive scheme in Houston. Between the due of Watt and Clowney, the offensive line of the Colts have allowed a large amount of defenders to get to Andrew Luck during his two year career. Now with two great pass rushers that merit double-teams, Indianapolis will need to step up if they hope to keep Luck upright and in the pocket.  He may be a once in a lifetime talent, but this is still the NFL and Andrew Luck will be able to continually confuse Clowney with different looks and blocking packages. Advantage, Luck.
