How Buccaneer fans reacted via Twitter to the second day of the draft


After drafting wide receiver Mike Evans with the seventh overall pick of the 2014 NFL draft, the Buccaneers still needed to draft more offensive players to satisfy their desire for a high-powered offense.

With the 38th pick, the Buccaneers selected tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins from Washington.

The majority of fans were pleased with this surprising pick.

While the Buccaneers second-round pick may have been a shock to some, the Buccaneers third-round pick certainly evoked emotion from Tampa Bay fans everywhere. The Bucs wasted no time in generating hype before the pick was announced.

With the 69th pick the Buccaneers drafted running back Charles Sims from West Virginia.

Understandably, most fans were rubbed the wrong way by that pick.

In the end, the tweet of the night from David Gonos accurately described the thoughts of Tampa Bay fans everywhere.
