Justin Pugh offers Weston Richburg a ride home from the airport on his tandem bike

As is understandably the case, established veterans are usually more than happy to help out their newest teammates after they’ve been drafted. So it was really nice of New York Giants offensive tackle Justin Pugh—their first-round pick last year—to offer the team’s second-round pick in this year’s draft, Weston Richburg, a ride home from the airport when he gets into the city. Except he wasn’t looking to pick him up in his BMW and chauffeur him around town or hook him up with a stylish ride to the Meadowlands in a limo.

No, Pugh is apparently more than happy to scoop Richburg up… in his new tandem bike.

Whether or not Richburg will take him on the offer remains to be seen, but I’d pay some money to see two NFL offensive lineman riding down the New Jersey Turnpike on a tandem bike.
