Kansas City Chiefs take a big name SEC quarterback in the fifth round

The Kansas City Chiefs made things interesting in the 5th round when they took former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray.

Murray is undersized at just 6’0, but he has some of the best mechanics of any quarterbacks in the draft.

Murray threw for at least 3,000 yards in all four years at Georgia.

He tore his ACL late in November, but Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network says he is progressing well in his rehab.

Murray should push Tyler Bray for the number three quarterback slot on the team, and could eventually push Chase Daniel for the number two spot.
