Late Friday night, the Cincinnatii Bengals used their third round pick to upgrade their defensive line. After losing last year’s starting DE Michael Johnson (56 tackles and 4 sacks) to free agency, the Bengals had to bring in a good replacement.
West Virginia DE Will Clark could he the answer. Selected with Cincinnati’s third pick in the draft, the 6’6 pass rusher registered six sacks last season. Though Clark fell to the third round, he has great upside, and the makeup to become a productive NFL starter.
He will need to improve his run defense and power moves. Luckily for him, he will have a coaching staff that excels at player developement.
