The Dolphins made the new additions to the roster in the first two days of the draft.

Like every other fan base their are Dolphins fans who loves Dennis Hickeys draft thus far and there are other fans disappointed and left wanting more. To get a little more of an understanding of the 3 newest Dolphins here are some NFL comparables.

Ju’Wuan James

James will be the Dolphins starting tackle from day 1 and has already had success in a similar blocking scheme to the Dolphins. Can pass off stunting rushers to the inside and cleanly pick up the looping outside player with great recognition.

James started all 49 games at Tennessee at high level.

James’ NFL comparison:  Jermon Bushrod and David Stewart

Jarvis Landry

Might not be a number one WR but is a slot guy that is going to fight for the football and battle to pull down jump balls. Landry won’t bring great YAC but is a reliable receiver who catches the football really well. Landry will be a reliable option for Tannehill and a guy who should quickly become a fan favorite in Miami.

Landry NFL comparison:  Hines Ward, Anquan Boldin, Michael Crabtree and former Dolphin WR O.J McDuffie

Billy Turner

Big boy OT Billy Turner comes from a small school and has a lot of upside. Turner most likely will plug in at Guard and is a guy who if he lives up to his upside has Pro Bowl potential in his future. Turner is a little raw but is the type of guy you want on your team. One word you keep hearing with Turner is that he is a VIOLENT OL.

Turner NFL comparison: Turner compares himself to Joe Thomas and Lane Johnson.

Other comparisons: Bruce Campbell in terms of how impressive he is physically, also had similar combine numbers to Joe Staley and Nate Solder.

Will Aikens

Aikens is a big physical CB with long arms who will be a nice addition to the Dolphins defensive backfield.

NFL player comparison: Keenan Lewis

Arthur Lynch

Not a deep threat or not a vertical threat but should be a great blocker and is a good football player. Lynch is a big boy tight end who will help out in the redzone and 3rd downs. Lynch could be the teams number two tight end going forward.

NFL player comparison: Anthony Fasano or Heath Miller

Jordan Tripp

High energy linebacker who will contribute in special teams right away. Covers the field sideline to sideline can play both outside and inside linebacker.

NFL player comparison: KJ Wright and Paul Posluzny
