Ravens sign four late-round draft picks

Aaron Wilson pretty much doesn’t stop tweeting about draft transactions — be it an undrafted free agent or the terms of a rookie contract. However, today, he reported that the Ravens have come to terms with four of their nine draft picks from the 2014 draft.

Check out the following tweets:

So, for those keeping track, that leaves first round pick C.J. Mosley, second rounder Timmy Jernigan, third rounder Terrence Brooks, and fourth rounders Brent Urban and Lorenzo Taliaferro still remaining to sign.

Teams are trying to get contracts done sooner than later, and the days of lengthy holdouts seems to be behind us after the recent CBA changed the cap on rookie contracts. You can expect announcements later about more contracts, as well as hopefully a post in the future that goes in-depth on the class of undrafted free agents, time permitting.

The terms of Gillmore, Urschel and Wenning’s contracts have yet to be released, but with Campanaro getting $2.287, you can probably expect similar amounts to the other three who signed.
