At least two Denver Broncos are on the NFL’s Top 100 of 2014.
The list, which is voted on by the players themselves, is a sign of respect from and for their brothers.
Last week, Louis Vasquez was named No. 97th best player in the NFL. Vasquez was arguably the biggest signing of the 2013 offseason, as he stepped in to start all 16 games at right guard and was subsequently named to the All-Pro team. An honor, indeed.
Last night, newcomer to the Broncos — T.J. Ward — was named No. 82nd best in the league. While he hasn’t played a down in Denver yet, Ward was a key signing of this offseason. The hard-hitting safety will bring a toughness to the Broncos defense, especially the secondary, one they’ve been missing for years.
Of course, with so many talented players on the Broncos — Peyton Manning, Demaryius Thomas, Julius Thomas, and more — there are bound to be additional men from the Mile High City on the list.
Each Wednesday another 10 names are announced on NFL Network’s show which airs at 7 p.m. MT.
