The Jacksonville Jaguars have now signed three draft picks in three days. Storm Johnson and Luke Bowanko signed their rookie deals earlier this week.
Cornerback Aaron Colvin out of Oklahoma who the team drafted in the fourth round is the third.

It’s a four-year deal worth $2,673,152 with a signing bonus of $453,153. His salary cap hit for 2014 is $533,288.
During the Senior Bowl, the Jaguars got a good look at Colvin who was on the South team. Unfortunately, he sustained an ACL injury and is still going through the rehabilitation process. Had it not been for the injury, he had been rated to go as high as the second-round on most draft boards.
When head coach Gus Bradley ran into Colvin during the NFL Combine, he had a few encouraging words.

He is on schedule for a possible return that could happen at somepoint in the middle of the season. Bradley has said that it’s ‘crazy’ to think he can’t possibly contribute to the defense in 2014 and that Colvin is ‘pillar’ of the secondary. He isn’t a tall lanky, corner like Bradley’s use to having, but his skills will suit him well in press coverage.
