Top 5: Odd Predictions for Colts in 2014

4. Jim Irsay will make the headlines with another embarrassing comment or bad decision

Jim Irsay loves having the spotlight on him, whether he admits it or not.

Unfortunately that spotlight showed Irsay and his struggle with drug addiction over this off-season.

This was not the first time that Irsay’s drug addiction was a topic of discussion but this time it came with a lovely mug shot. Last season Irsay was in the headlines after he made the comment “What’s happened is what Peyton and I hoped would happen. The desire was for him to get well and get to a team that has a chance to win another Super Bowl before his career ended.

And our desire was to be able to transition to Andrew. To be so good so soon is stunning.” Though this was not an outright slam on Peyton Manning, the media took it and went wild. The media reported that this comment was Irsay’s way of saying that the Colts needed a new quarterback in order to make it to, and win the Super Bowl.

Irsay uses Twitter like he is a teenager and appears not to think about the repercussions of what his comments, both on and offline.
