Could Raiders QB Derek Carr Be Involved In A Future Brady vs Manning Type Of Rivalry?

There have been many quarterback rivalries in NFL history, but the rivalry between Tom Brady and Peyton Manning has been one of the most epic. The two have met a total of 15 times, including the post season with Brady having a big 10-5 advantage. The skill-set of these two elite QBs is undeniable. Equally undeniable is the skill and potential of several quarterbacks who have entered the league in the last several years, including Raiders rookie, Derek Carr.

One thing that makes this speculation even more interesting is the fact that an epic rivalry between Carr and a future QB within the AFC West may be closer than some may think. The Denver Broncos, San Diego Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs all have veteran QBs who have fewer playing days ahead of them than they do behind them.

These teams also have no big name QB prospects on their roster and will likely have to draft one in the very near future. Combine that with the crop of young college quarterbacks that will be coming out in the next few years and you have enough smoke for a fire.

There are also young QBs already in the league that could wind up providing Derek Carr with some great rivalries. Lets take a look at a few.

    You’re a moron…the chiefs drafted Murray. … attentiom to the draft…idiot!

Must be a Chefs fan. Doesn’t even have the guts to identify himself and can’t type “attentiom”.

What do you think? Murray was drafted in the 5th round to be the future starter? You draft a QB in the 5th round to be a career back-up, not the future of your franchise. What, you think he is the next Tom Brady? Get real! Murray was ranked the #10 QB prospect by Walter Football and #9 by CBS Sports. Mayock didn’t even have him as a top 5 QB prospect where the future franchise QBs are usually drafted. Here, I’ll even give you the link to his draft analysis and you can see for yourself:

Thinking like that is why the Chefs are losers and will continue to be losers. Your winning ways in the playoffs went out the window when Len Dawson and Hank Stram left as evidenced by your playoff record since then. How many playoff games have they won? Try a 3-12 record since 1971 and 7 straight playoff losses. Thought so. Go back to your dreams. Maybe you should get your facts straight and take a look at yourself first before you go calling someone else an idiot or a moron!
