Could Tennessee Titans have interest in Brandon Flowers?

When the Kansas City Chiefs dropped Brandon Flowers earlier Friday afternoon, the stud defensive back’s name popped up as a potential fit for the Tennessee Titans after allowing Alterraun Verner to walk and with a chunk of change leftover following a conservative offseason.

According to Paul Kuharsky of ESPN.com, some traction could develop in Tennessee’s interest of the former Pro Bowler.

“The Tennessee Titans are sorting out whether they think cornerback Brandon Flowers would be a fit. If they decide he is and he comes at the right price, they could pursue him.”

The Titans should fare well with Jason McCourty and either Blidi Wreh-Wilson or Coty Sensabaugh as the starting defensive backs, but inking Flowers could add some serious fire-power to the secondary.
