Kansas City Chiefs Release Brandon Flowers


Brandon Flowers Released:

Adam Schefter of ESPN.com is reporting that the Kansas City Chiefs have released Pro Bowl cornerback Brandon Flowers.

Flowers was due  $5.25 million in 2014. His release comes just three years after signing a 6-year $50 million extension in 2011.

Multiple members of the media are reporting the Falcons are a serious candidate to sign Brandon Flowers.

Flowers was a 2nd round pick by the Chiefs in 2008. He turned 28 earlier this year.
