In case you’ve been hiding under a rock on some distant cold planet the last 24 hours, yesterday there was a fight at Seattle Seahaws mini-camp. The fracas started when Phillip Bates went down on a hard hit from Earl Thomas. On the very next play he got tied up with Richard Sherman and a fight ensued.
Q13 Fox of Seattle caught video of the fight, as well as a couple highlights from yesterday’s practice, which included an amazing one-hand pick by Byron Maxwell and a 57-yard touchdown bomb from Russell Wilson to Paul Richardson. Enjoy:
According to multiple reports the fight was much ado about nothing. Shortly afterwards players were joking about it and everybody made up. The fact that the Seahawks are showing this much intensity during a non-contact drill, just months after winning the Super bowl and securing giant contract extensions has to be an inspiring sight for the 12th man.
