Things We Hate: The Dilapidated Silverdome


The Pontiac Silverdome used to host Detroit Lions home games before Ford Field was built. Without the Lions, the Silverdome didn’t have a primary tenant and was sold to a private buyer. There was an auction earlier this week that raised $500,000 by selling off various parts of the stadium. The wiring drew the biggest action, selling for more than $77,000.

We hate seeing a perfectly good stadium go to waste and be left to essentially sit and rot.
