Power Rankings: At 2014 midpoint, New England Patriots rated top-10 team in NFL


The calm before the storm; that’s what the NFL is in the midst of at the moment. As July dawns, it’s a sign that football season is almost here. After all, training camps open around the league this month. But until teams gather for two-a-days, all is quiet.

Minicamps are over. Offseason conditioning in winding down. Players are essentially on their own for the next few weeks, allowed to clear their minds and rest their bodies prior to the rigors of an NFL season commencing.

So it’s a good time to evaluate where everyone stands. At this point in the year, the exact midway spot on the calendar, how do teams stack up?
