Tennessee Titans’ 5 Most Valuable Players in 2014

As the Tennessee Titans embark on their first season under Ken Whisenhunt, veteran players will be vital in making the transition. Whether this is a playoff team or not in the wide-open AFC South remains to be seen.

If the Titans somehow do make the jump, these five players will be key contributors.

5. Delanie Walker, TE

Coming off his best season as a pro, Walker will be a security blanket for quarterback Jake Locker this season. Whenever Locker is pressured, or forced out of the pocket, Walker will be the one he finds for a last-second completion more often than not. Locker’s mobility only ups Walker’s value in the Titans offense, and seeing as their new head coach Ken Whisenhunt is a former tight end himself, Walker should get plenty of opportunities in the Titans offense in 2014.
