The top 5 plays of Jordan Matthews' Vanderbilt career

When the Philadelphia Eagles selected Vanderbilt wide receiver Jordan Matthews in the second round of the NFL Draft, a collective sigh of relief was heard around town. The loss of Pro Bowl playmaker DeSean Jackson was weighing heavily on the franchise and they desperately needed to add a dynamic replacement.

Matthews fits the bill perfectly. At the combine he clocked a 4.46 forty yard dash to go with a 35.5 inch vertical leap and a 120 inch broad jump. That kind of athleticism is going to earn him a lot of money at the pro level, and less you think he might have trouble adjusting to the NFL game, you should know that Matthews is already impressing the likes of Calvin Johnson and A.J. Green at summer workouts.

In case you haven’t had a chance to see what he can do yet, here are the top five clips from his time at Vanderbilt.
