Five positions on the Oakland Raiders that still need to be upgraded

The Oakland Raiders did a lot to upgrade their roster this offseason. There is a good chance that the Raiders will field at least 10 new starters on both sides of the ball this season. And that does not include potential new starters on special teams as well. But despite the influx of talent, this is still a team that is far from being without any holes.

There is no question that it is a better roster than it was in 2013 but how much better? It’s difficult to argue it is a playoff caliber roster with a straight face, especially considering the division the Raiders play in (where every other team went to the playoffs in 2013). As an NFL team, no matter where in the league you stand, one always has to be thinking about getting better.

So while the Raiders get ready to see what this new and improved roster can do during training camp, let’s take a look at five position groups that the Raiders still need to upgrade at some point in the future.

I think your a little Pre-mature in talking smack against the Raiders defense or offensive lineman. Currently, the ROSTER IS NOT SET YET BRAINCHILD, we still have 10 Million to spend on free Agents and can aquire more players even after the 90 man cut down. Your guessing at this point, I believe the Raiders defense is going to be formidable this year, regardless of all these Monday Morning Quarterback predictions.
