Previewing the New York Giants’ draft picks heading into training camp


With the start of training camp just a few days away, the New York Giants are undoubtedly anxious to get started. The memories of the past two non-playoff years are still fresh in their minds and the minds of the fans. Over the past couple of seasons, the G-men have had limited contributions from their rookie draft picks, which at least partially explains their demise.

There are high expectations for this year’s draft class, headed by first round pick, Odell Beckham, Jr., from LSU. While the Giants appear to have filled some of the many positional holes that the team had last year through free agency (OL, CB, RB), there still will be opportunities for rookies to compete for significant roles on the roster.

Before camp begins, let’s take a look at what we might expect from the 2014 New York Giants draft class…
