For a couple months now, Andre Johnson has found his name in the trade rumor mill. First, he wasn’t sure if he wanted to be in Houston, then requested a trade a couple weeks ago, with four teams interested.
Now, after sitting out mandatory minicamp and OTas, Johnson has finally showed up to join the team.
ESPN NFL Nation and Houston Texans writer Tania Ganguli broke the news:
Good sign for the #Texans: receiver Andre Johnson was at NRG Stadium yesterday, sources said.

Jerome Solomon of the Houston Chronicle shared his thoughts:
Let me clarify, I expect Johnson to be in camp on time.

For the time being, this is great news for Houston Texans fans, who feared that their top receiver and playmaker on offense was good as gone. But now Johnson appears to have changed his mind. Although it’s not confirmed yet that he will play with the Texans this season, showing up is a reason to be optimistic for the time being.
