For the Houston Texans, the first day of training camp on Friday went well, according to Texans radio host Deepi Sidhu.
Head coach Bill O’Brien was quoted as saying that “the competitiveness was good,” and that they will continue to work hard on staying sharp.
During the practice, Jadeveon Clowney could not participate as much as hoped because of his sports hernia surgery that he continues to recover from. It shouldn’t be long-term, and he should be able to practice fully in the very near future.
As for the return of Andre Johnson, he is deeply motivated to make up for the time he missed.
Andre Johnson hopes to make up for the time he missed. “I’ll do that. I’m going to work my butt off.” #Texans

Ryan Fitzpatrick, according to Sidhu, also isn’t bothered by the hot weather he has experienced so far.
As for the most interesting part, and something to what for? Brooks Reed is practicing as both an inside and outside linebacker, and it remains to be seen where he will play throughout the season.
