New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton is an ambitious guy. His energy and competitive spirit bring a lot of inspiration for his team. If you need proof of that you need look no further than what happened when Payton was suspended for the 2012 NFL season.
The previous year the Saints went 13-3, finishing the season on a furious pace with three consecutive games of scoring 40 or more points. The season before that was pretty decent too as I recall. But when Payton disappeared from the sidelines the Saints lost a major part of their identity. New Orleans won just seven games in 2012 and at times looked like they had lost the will to play defense entirely.
That all changed when Payton returned to the helm last season. Now with a refurbished secondary Payton is hoping to lead his team back to the promised land. The best way to do that is to lead by example and set high goals for yourself. This time though Payton may have bitten a little more off than he can chew.
Michael DeMocker of the New Orleans Times-Picayune snapped this photo this morning from Saints practice, which shows Payton trying to cover tight end Jimmy Graham 1 on 1:

Yeah, good luck with that coach.
