Indianapolis Colts night practice highlighted with an amazing play

The Indianapolis Colts hosted a night practice tonight in Anderson, Indiana to a fully packed crowd. Just hours earlier the Colts announced they had placed offensive lineman Donald Thomas on injured reserve. The second season in a row he will end his season on it. This coming less than a week that the Colts lost running back Vick Ballard on IR as well.

Thomas was expected to anchor the interior of the line that could feature Khaled Holmes, whom has yet to make a start, and rookie Jack Mewhort, whom also has yet to start a game.

The night practice was a complete success as fans were able to enjoy seeing Reggie Wayne and Andrew Luck team up again. One pass play in particular was impressive.

The laser throw from Luck to Wayne has become the normal ever since Luck arrived in Indianapolis in 2012, and with Wayne fully healthy this season expect more of those same passes throughout the year.
