Houston Texans #1 pick Jadeveon Clowney carted off field at training camp

Scary news is emerging this morning from the Houston Texans training camp at the Houston Methodist Training Center.

About an hour ago, number one overall draft pick Jadeveon Clowney was seen being carted off the field, holding an ice pack to his hip area.

There was no word on the severity of the injury, but head coach Bill O’Brien told The Houston Chronicle’s Brian T. Smith that the team was just trying to manage Clowney’s soreness:

Clowney played all of his final college season with a sports hernia, and underwent surgery this offseason. We will have more as it develops.

Clowney. Fits this guy perfectly. Was a waste of a draft pick. All reports from South Carolina is that he is Lazy and doesn’t want to practice. I don’t think he will have much impact in pro football. Cut this loser now.

Won’t bother me if I never see him take a snap. I’m sure he’ll be one of those players that gets crammed down our throats to the point that you want to hear NOTHING out of him.
