Pittsburgh Steelers give special teams player long-term extension

The Pittsburgh Steelers may have a lot of questions to answer regarding the future of their roster. How will Le’Veon Bell improve in his second NFL season? How long can Ben Roethlisberger play at an elite level, and so on, but you can go ahead and scratch one spot off that list.

Yesterday the team announced via Twitter that it has given kicker Shaun Suisham an extension that runs through 2018:

Suisham has been with the Steelers for the last four years. With the exception of an outlier 2011 season he has consistently hit over 90 percent of his field goal attempts.
