The New England Patriots release their first depth chart of the year


In just a few hours, the first kickoff of the season will take place in Canton, Ohio, as the Buffalo Bills and New York Giants face off. Even if it’s just one sloppy preseason game, it’s still football.

With that said, the Patriots have taken one step closer to their first preseason game with the release of their first depth chart. Here’s a look:

There aren’t many surprises on this list. It seems that Duron Harmon is in fact holding down the starting safety position, as many expected, and Josh Boyce is currently the starting kick returner, a slight surprise.
