The Houston Texans had another successful day at training camp, and according to Dave Zangaro of CSN Houston, the practice was highlighted by Jadeveon Clowney’s impressive performances.
According to Zangaro, they used him playing alongside with Brooks Reed, after he was used to play along with J.J. Watt on the defensive line, so the team is clearly looking for the best possible fit for him.
Right guard, and 33rd overall pick Xavier Su’a-Filo was solid in sessions except for the fact Watt had dominated him on one-on-one matchups.
Also, rookie running back Alfred Blue looked very good and was excellent in reading the defenses and making pre-snap adjustments, and he looks like the front-runner to be Arian Foster’s backup.
Overall, the Texans had another very good practice that was highlighted by great impressions from the rookies, which should excite Texans fans in 2014.
