One of the most exciting battles of the preseason may have been DeSean Jackson vs. Darrelle Revis this Thursday, but that matchup looks to be in jeopardy. During practice today, Jackson pulled up with an injury and left the field.
WR @DeSeanJackson11 walks off the practice field with a wrap on his left ankle. We’ll get an update from Coach Gruden after practice.

Don’t know any updates on desean Jackson’s injury. Just know he hurt his foot. Hobbled off. Update after practice. Could be minor. No idea

Shorter, much lighter practice concludes. Walkthrough pace. Biggest news was WR DeSean Jackson leaving early (appeared to be ankle).

Let’s just hope it’s a minor injury, and a preseason game is all he might be missing.
After practice, coach Jay Gruden said that Jackson “twisted his ankle just a hair,” and he has not yet been ruled out of tomorrow’s preseason opener against the Patriots. While they may hold him out as just a precaution, Washington can let out a sigh of relief.
