Would the New Orleans Saints be better if they fielded this hometown team?


The New Orleans Saints are poised for another deep playoff run in 2014 so a major roster shakeup probably wouldn’t be a great idea, but what if they had no choice?

Let’s play a hypothetical game. What if every NFL team had to start over and field only players from their home town? According to Best Tickets, the all-New Orleans team would look like this:


Not too bad at all. For my money I think trading Drew Brees for Peyton Manning is pretty much a wash. Eddie Lacy represents a big upgrade at running back, though. But the other side of the ball is not as pretty. Given the choice I would probably stick with the Saints current roster over this one. How about you?
