Chargers’ fans expect the Bolts to play in Super Bowl XLIX

The San Diego Chargers fans apparently have never been more confident in their team and what lies ahead for them in the 2014 NFL season. So much so, that they’re contenders for the Super Bowl this year.

Per a tweet from U-T San Diego writer Kevin Acee, the Bolts will play the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 49 in Glendale, Arizona based on a “fans confidence” ranking. Prime Visibility, a digital marketing agency, supplied this ranking.

There’s certainly no reason not to be excited if you are a Chargers fan after last season’s stupendous showing that ultimately brought them to the AFC Divisional Round, a place they had not been since 2009. And, after a pretty good showing in the 2014 NFL Draft, Bolts fans are certainly brimming with confidence, as this metric indicates.

Of course, there are plenty of games to be played. So we will see if this study is either fair or foul soon enough.
