A little less than one month ago, Rams linebacker was arrested in Miami just days before the Rams opened training camp.
It was not a good look for Dunbar, who already has a four-game suspension for PEDs under his belt. However, Dunbar contended from the beginning that he was wrongfully arrested.
Turns out Dunbar was right.
Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post Dispatch reports that all charges against Dunbar stemming from the incident will be dropped.
From the article:
“In anticipation of the arraignment scheduled for today, I reached out to the prosecutor,” Dunbar’s attorney, Howard Srebnick, told the Post-Dispatch. “My investigation had corroborated that Mr. Dunbar was not guilty of any crime. In court today (at the arraignment hearing), the prosecutor notified the judge that no charges would be pursued against Mr. Dunbar. Case is closed.”
