Chicago Bears part ways with two special teams players

The Bears have waived punter Tress Way and long snapper Chad Rempel. Both were in open competition but this move signals the end of the battles.

The team will now turn full-time to rookie punter Pat O’Donnell and long snapper Brandon Hartson. The Bears also agreed to terms with kick returner Darius Reynaud and cornerback Peyton Thompson.
