Indianapolis Colts make roster changes

Today the Indianapolis Colts signed free agent guard Andre Cureton and waived kicker Cody Parkey.

It was almost inevitable that the Colts would release Parkey, as they are set with Pat McAfee handling kickoffs and Mr. Clutch Adam Vinatieri handling field goals.

Cureton, a native of Indianapolis, was an all-state player at Pike High School. He is 6’5″, 332 pounds, and played his college ball at Cincinnati University. During his career he made six starts, and appeared in 23 games. He was a key rotating member of an offensive line that lead the American Athletic Conference in yards per game (482.3), and the fewest sacks allowed with 12.

He was originally singed by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent on May 2nd, and waived August 12. With the recent injuries to the offensive line he could find himself on the practice squad, or the last lineman left on the active roster.
