When it rains it pours, and right now the Dallas Cowboys defense is suffering from a veritable flood of injuries.
Defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence will miss at least the first eight weeks of the regular season, inside linebacker Sean Lee will not play at all this year after tearing his ACL, Henry Melton is hobbled with a groin issue, it just goes on and on.
Check out this chart that shows all of the Cowboys injuries:
I see one wide receiver, one tackle and one tight end there. The rest of them are all on defense.
As bad as that sounds it looks like it’s going to get worse before it gets better. According to Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys may have lost linebacker Devonte Holloman for the season as well:

Holloman injured his neck last season and missed seven games. He appeared to re-injure it in Saturday’s preseason matchup with the Ravens.
It’s another tough break for Cowboys fans, who are already ranked the least confident fanbase in the NFL about this coming season.
